CityFlats Hotel Grand Rapids Now Open
The complete transformation of the former Fox Jewelers building in downtown Grand Rapids has come to an end and CityFlats Hotel is now open. The building was constructed in the late 1800s but had been vacant for several years. The new hotel features five-stories, 16,000 square feet and 28 unique rooms. LEED Gold status is pending.
GMB also served as architect/engineer on the first CityFlats Hotel that opened in Holland back in 2008. CityFlats Holland was the first LEED Gold Certified hotel in the Midwest and is featured in a recent book, World’s LEED Hotels.
