Creating two schools to live under one roof.

Planning for future growth drove decisions in the development of this new DK-4 elementary school. The 80-acre site was planned to accommodate up to four buildings, and the building is equipped for the expected growth in this expanding district. Shared resources connect the two small, separate elementary schools in the building, and include the cafeteria, food service, gymnasiums, resource rooms, and student service spaces. Sustainability features include a building envelope with high thermal resistance, heat pump mechanical system, and a geothermal well field.
