Creating Space for Community

An assisted living conversion creates community through new dining and common spaces.

Converting the 3rd floor of this facility from Independent Living to Assisted Living required extensive reprogramming, including the creation of a new controlled dining area, serving kitchen, comfortable common spaces, staff area, and a spa. The existing living areas were renovated to provide adequate, comfortable, common space. One resident unit was taken off-line to create a serving kitchen, staff area and spa. Three, one-bedroom units were also split to provide six studio-type apartments.
