Culture-Driven High School Design

Design that reinforces values of strong community, educational excellence, and faith.

Inspired by the school’s tight-knit community, the floor plan for this new high school was centered on a two-story commons that functions as the heart of the building. This brightly colored, naturally lit space includes the main entry, cafeteria, main circulation path, and connection to two academic wings and a student-focused gathering area. The commons also parallels the combined gymnasium and worship chapel space, serving as a pre and post-function space for athletics and community gatherings.
