Repair and Rehabilitation Projects Keep Facilities Operating
Maintenance and improvements to existing systems and facilities not only extend the life of a building, but they’re also critical to the continued success of an institution’s mission to serve the students and faculty who occupy the buildings.
At GMB, we understand that new buildings and larger renovations are not the only projects on your mind. Upkeep of existing facilities is vital to the continued success of your mission to educate students. Even with impeccable care and maintenance, building systems and components have a finite life and must be replaced eventually.
Our team of experts has extensive experience with designing selective replacement, repair, and upgrades to all building systems. We’ve helped many clients by assessing their existing systems and making recommendations for upgrades or replacements that fit within their budgets – and extend the life of their facilities. Sometimes only minor repairs or upgrades are needed to extend the life of larger and more expensive equipment. Other times we find a root cause that may not have been recognized initially because a different building system was involved.
At GMB, there is no project too small for us, especially in service of the students and faculty who use those buildings every day. Our ultimate goal is to apply our expertise in building systems in order to create and enhance learning ecosystems, supporting the vision and needs of our clients, regardless of project size or scope. Though our expertise extends far beyond these projects, here is just a sampling of some of the small improvements and facilities upgrades we can advise on and oversee.
