Performance Spaces and a Better-Performing Building

Improved layouts for a better performing building and performance spaces alike.

Updating this 1970’s era high school included extensive additions and renovations. A new design relocated the main office to the front of the building, expanded the cafeteria, added new extended learning spaces, and updated classroom spaces. A strong east-west axis connects the front door to a new 2-story lobby. This pre-function space unifies two new major event spaces – a 560-seat auditorium and a new competition gymnasium with space for more than 2,000 spectators.  In addition to the interior renovation, GMB designed new varsity baseball and softball fields and renovated the stadium.
