Empowering Active Living

The Evergreen Commons community center for active older adults (AOAs) aims to bring holistic wellness to its members across a broad range of interests from language learning to water aerobics. The building needed to support that, and its outdated and nonfunctional locker rooms and showers weren’t up to the task.

After years of collaboration ranging from a snowmelt study to assessments, GMB worked with the staff, board, and members to create a master plan for a timeless and functional space that was safe and accessible for all members.

The locker rooms were upgraded with luxurious tile and finishes, and the women’s locker room was doubled in size. This project helped complete phase one of the master plan work at Evergreen Commons.
