An Urban Gateway

Promoting community engagement through a contemporary renovation.

This interior renovation was driven by a desire to improve staff spaces, complete deferred maintenance projects, and better facilitate community and member activities. The design solution maximized the existing building’s square footage, increased transparency throughout, and features abundant natural light. The building’s central core was opened up and transformed into a reception area that leads to a new meeting space that can host up to 75 people. Improvements to the site included relocating parking to the rear of the building, making the front more pedestrian-friendly, allowing social and professional interactions to be carried outside of the building space.
