New Campus, New Learning Perspective

Creating an adjacent campus to transform learning perspectives.

With a growing student population came the need for Caledonia Community Schools to add capacity to their existing high school. This new campus acts as a supplementary building for high school students, with a focus on helping students prepare for college and the workplace. Learning spaces were designed to enhance new teaching and learning styles; collaborative and project-based. The school harnesses extended learning areas and breakout spaces, equipped with integrated technology. Flexible furniture in all classrooms helps students to create community and collaborate with one another. Design features include a blackbox theater, auxiliary gym, and cafeteria, food lab, self-contained special education classrooms, and project rooms with operable walls.
