This high school was an aged facility that was not meeting the needs of the district. Through a complete renovation, the building looks and feels new while supporting all of the district's programming. Most of the existing building structure was preserved while changes were made throughout the building. Major improvements included building systems, finishes, and additions to make spaces look better with modern classroom spaces.

This building renovation was completed over two years. While the building was occupied, projects were orchestrated through five phases to lessen the disruption to student learning. As student safety is top of mind, special attention was given to firewalls and providing appropriate means of egress and fire separations. Key features of this renovation included a new Learning Information Center, maker spaces, expanded cafeteria, auxiliary gym, secure entrances, and new administration office suites.
