Tonight our GMB families celebrated summer with an outing at 5/3 Ballpark! Go Whitecaps!
Last night we celebrated our summer interns with a lakeside picnic and cornhole tournament. A big thanks to Sarah, Susan, Ben, Kristi, Kristina, Andrew, Steve and Julia for their contributions to our team.
Months of planning came together today at Good Sam's Run! All proceeds from this annual event support youth programming at Good Samaritan Ministries, an organization that works to end the cycle of generational poverty. GMB partnered with Disher Design to create the "Rock 'n Roller" obstacle, which was voted favorite obstacle by the 7-13 year olds!
Please join us on Tuesday, January 24, as GMB President, David Bolt, serves as a panelist at the Holland Young Professionals “Philanthropy Matters” breakfast.
Please join us tomorrow! GMB is honored to sponsor and welcome Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray to Grand Rapids as part of the January Series of Calvin College.
We just wrapped up another session of GMB University today! Two days of new tools, training, culture, challenges, teams and friendly competition, all culminating in a pinewood derby design challenge and race.
GMB had the distinct honor of attending the Calvin College Named Scholarship Dinner this past week, along with the two GMB scholarship recipients (and interns). Congratulations Andrew and Zach!
Since 2012, GMB has partnered with VOX of Holland, Michigan to help bring hope and life via clean, accessible and sustainable drinking water to sub-Saharan Africa.
GMB is honored to have been recognized with two awards by the Grand Rapids Chapter of the American Institute of Architects at their annual Honor Awards Gala held last night. GMB was presented with the 2016 Firm Achievement Award, an award that acknowledges continued leadership and contributions to both the architectural profession and the community. GMB also received an Honor Award in the unbuilt category for the ShearHouse project. ShearHouse was conceived as a prototype to address the “Missing Middle,” a series of housing typologies providing walkable, urban living that bridges the gap between suburban, detached homes and dense urban living and commercial development. A big thanks and congrats to our amazing team!
